Current Timber Supply Review (TSR)
Effective September 6, 2006, in order to support an effective forest
management strategy in response to the Mountain Pine
Beetle (MPB) epidemic, the allowable annual cut (AAC) for the
100 Mile House TSA is 2,000,000 cubic metres per year. This AAC will remain in effect
until a new AAC is determined, which must take place within 10 years
of this determination, unless the redetermination date is formally
postponed according to the provisions of Section 8 of the
Forest
Act.
Public input is a vital part of the timber supply review process.
