Kalum Timber Supply Area

The Kalum TSA covers approximately 539,319 hectares, and includes the communities of Terrace and Kitimat.

The Kalum TSA is part of the Northern Interior Forest Region and is administered by the Kalum Forest District.

Current Timber Supply Review

In July 2003, the chief forester postponed the date for the next AAC.  The current allowable annual cut for the Kalum TSA is 436,884 cubic metres.

Public input is a vital part of the timber supply review process.  A data package was released on May 8, 2009.  Feedback is welcome on any issue related to the timber supply review for the Kalum TSA.
