Bulkley Timber Supply Area

The Bulkley TSA, located in the eastern drainage of the Skeena River in the Northern Interior Forest Region, covers approximately 736,000 hectares. The TSA includes the communities of Smithers, Telkwa, Moricetown and Fort Babine. The current allowable annual cut for the Bulkley TSA is 882,000 cubic metres.

Current Timber Supply Review

In August 2007, the chief forester postponed the date for the next AAC determination until 2011.
