Products: SYLVER/SAWSIM

SAWSIM is a tree bucking and log sawing system. The bucking component, BUCKSIM , cuts the trees into logs of optimum length. The sawmill simulator, SAWSIM/SAWTAB , selects the cutting pattern which will give the maximum lumber value, and summarizes lumber volume by board dimensions.

SAWSIM is a proprietary product of Halco Software . It serves as a component of SYLVER, but our staff can run them independently to fulfill the needs of Ministry clients. For example, SAWSIM can be used to report the lumber yield for logs of different diameter, length and taper.
