Production of genetically improved stecklings of interior spruce: A grower's manual.
FRDA Rep. 110. 15pp.
- Abstract:
-
This manual describes the techniques needed for producing good quality interior spruce (Picea glauca and P. Engelmannii) stecklings (plantable rooted cuttings). It is intended to guide forest nursery growers and forest science researchers in growing and using stecklings of interior spruce. Stecklings can be used to provide immediate genetic games for operational plantings, and to increase the efficiency and precision of research trials.
