2007 April

TIPSY version 4.1 is now available for 'official' use in timber supply applications. Some new features that might interest you are:
  • trembling aspen database
  • windthrow module
  • some bugs were fixed. See details below.
What are the differences in yield projections between version 3.2 and version 4.1?

We have found no significant differences in yields, except where bugs existed. It's important to note that we are releasing this version of TIPSY mainly because of the fertilization and site index conversion bugs.
