SYLVER is a stand level system that helps forest managers evaluate the impact of Silvicultural treatments on Yield, Lumber Value, and Economic Return. It is developed in full for coastal Douglas-fir and partially for western hemlock, Sitka spruce, western redcedar, interior Douglas-fir, lodgepole pine and white spruce. It integrates the yield data from TASS and other sub-systems, and predicts wood quality, product recovery and financial return for various management regimes.
