HelpReturn to top of page

Although there is no formal Help or support system for SDMDs in British Columbia you can purchase "How to Use" guides from the Queen's Printer Website for the following:
(How to use a) Stand Density Management Diagram - Getting the Stand and Site Data - SIL396
(How to use a) Stand Density Management Diagram - Yield predictions for a spacing prescription - SIL395.
Users are also urged to first consult the publication by Farnden (1996 ). For further help, contact Craig Farnden, although please be aware that Craig is a private consultant and is not being paid for his time in addressing your questions.

Case StudiesReturn to top of page

For case studies and special application examples using SDMDs download the publication by Farnden (1996).

Workshops/TrainingReturn to top of page

There are no regularly scheduled training programs exclusively for SDMDs. Training in Stand Density Management Diagrams is included in both the Professional and Technical level modules of the Forest Management Institute of BC, and in the Alberta Advanced Forest Management Institute program. Aside from these sources, custom workshops can be arranged by contacting Craig Farnden.
