The Mixedwood Growth Model (MGM) is a stand growth model developed for the boreal forests of Alberta and northeastern British Columbia.  MGM is calibrated for white spruce and trembling aspen, typically growing together in varying degrees of mixture.  Lodgepole pine and black spruce are also included but less emphasis has been placed on development of relationships for these species.
