Treatments and Layout:
- This study was conducted in the plots of the Vegetation
Control Study
- Measurements:
- foliage collection at the beginning, mid and at the end of each growing season
- analyzed for macronutrients
- litterfall collection
- analyzed for macronutrients
soil collection at beginning and end of each growing season
- analyzed for macronutrients
Litter bags were installed in the winter of 1996
Collected twice yearly for the next 3 yrs
Summary Information:
This data will provide an estimate of nutrient inputs, decomposition and
turnover on the site over the rotation. It will be a couple of years before the results
are available
