EcoYield Yield Analysis from EcoGen An ecologically-based yield analysis can be made for an operating area by combining EcoGen predictions with SIBEC estimates. Site index values can be assigned to the most probable site series or weighted on the relative ranking of each site series using the most productive tree species in a polygon.
Other methods of assigning site index are also possible. The choice of method will depend on the information available, the data quality and the objectives of the yield analysis.
