EcoNGen Process Model EcoGen's model engine determines the ecosystem present in a given polygon by assessing the potential occurrence of each possible site series given the attributes for that polygon. The process model has the flexibility to analyze the data from the knowledge base using different variables. When all the ranking values are combined by the model engine, the result is a list of site series for the polygon, each with an associated likelihood of occurrence.
