The Invasive Alien Plant Program
(IAPP) Application
The Invasive Alien Plant Program (IAPP) Application is the database for invasive plant data in BC. It shares information generated by various agencies and non-government organizations involved in invasive plant management. The application allows the entry, editing and querying of invasive plant information including: site details; invasive plant inventory information; planning; treatment methods and data; and, monitoring data.
The IAPP Map Display module is freely accessible by anyone, and displays the data contained within the IAPP application. It is an interactive mapping system, which lets the user query the data directly, and create custom maps of known locations of invasive plant communities throughout B.C.
The IAPP Application has two components, the Data Entry module and the Map Display module.
Access to IAPP Data Entry is limited to authorized users, and requires either an IDIR for provincial government staff or a BCEID for MFLNRO clients.
See our complete Reference Guide page for comprehensive documentation on all aspects of invasive plant management, including Parts II and III, which deal with the IAPP Data Entry Module and Map Display Module respectively.

Automated Demos of various Invasive Alien Plant Program (IAPP) Application Tasks
Robo-Demos
The following RoboDemos are short movies that demonstrate how to enter the data from the
Site & Invasive Plant Inventory Record and the Chemical Treatment Record field forms into the IAPP on-line
forms in the Data Entry module.
IAPP Field Forms
To ensure that the data collected in the field is sufficient and of the correct type for entry into the IAPP database, we have created a set of default forms which may be downloaded and printed.
The updated forms listed below are described in detail in the Reference Guide Part I.
