Project Management Process Groups
The Project Management Process Groups (Initiation, Planning, Execution,
Monitoring and Controlling, and Close-out) are defined in the Project Management
Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) created by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
If you would more information about how the Government of B.C., Labour
Citizen’s Services (LCS) is promoting Project Management standards (based on
PMBOK) across government, then follow the link below to the LCS site.
Note: The LCS PMCoE site is external to the Ministry of Forests and Range web site.
The Ministry of Forests and Range SDLC is aligned with PM concepts from PMBOK
and the LCS site. However, the templates that you find on the LCS site will be
different from those in the Ministry of Forests and Range.
