Definition
Resources are the people, facilities, equipment, materials and supplies consumed during the course of the project. They are the inputs needed to produce the outputs. Taken together, they make up the total possible costs for the project.
The Resource Management Plan defines the resources assigned to the project, e.g. staff or contractors, in which roles.
Roles and Responsibilities
Standards
Using the roles/responsibilities document as a guide, and utilitizing the Project Organization Chart completed in the Master Project Plan, provide the names of the resources assigned to each role for this project, the amount of their availability required e.g. 50% and for how long (start and end dates).
List any other resources that are required: Equipment, facilities, materials and supplies and any quantities and timing.
Review the resource management plan with the Project Sponsor and the IMG Manager to get commitment for these resources.
