Procurement Documents


Definition

There are several types of Procurement Documents used for Systems projects. The most common are:

  • RFP is are Request for Proposal by the Ministry to the vendor community asking for their proposed costs and resources in response to a requirement or business need.
  • ITQ is a Invitation to Quote, asking vendors to propose costs, qualified candidates or their company, in response to a very specific requirement or business need.

Standards

The standards for creating an RFP or ITQ are provided by FMSB and the Purchasing Commission. Please follow the templates provided on the Forms index by searching for the appropriate form.

Templates

Request for Proposal (RFP) and Invitation to Quote (ITQ) templates can be obtained off the ministry Forms Index.
