Right-sizing Calculator and Checklist

Definition

The right-sizing calculator is used to determine the right-sizing category for the project.

The right-sizing checklist is a document describing the deliverables (mandatory and optional) for a project based on the right-sizing category of the project.  It is completed by the Project Manager after they have used the right-sizing Calculator to determine the right-sizing category.

If the Project Manager disagrees with any of the mandatory or optional deliverable, they should provide a rationale for why a deliverable is or is not required and record this in the checklist for the project.

Once reviewed and agreed to by the Project Sponsor and IMG Manager, the checklist becomes the basis for detailed planning for the project.
