Training Materials

Training for RESULTS is offered through three methods: on-line tutorials, virtual classrooms, and scheduled face-to-face sessions.

  • On-line tutorials provide a high level overview for those who are new to RESULTS and need a general overview of the application components.

  • Virtual classrooms: are available through Microsoft's Live Meeting.  Courses are 1.5 hours in duration and are a combination of slideshows and application demonstrations. Courses are organized by Business Module.  In a Virtual Classroom environment, opportunities are available for users to ask questions and also share ideas with colleagues.

Important Notice: Recorded training modules are being updated into the Live Meeting format.  Learnlinc sessions will remain available until all core modules have been updated into new format by the end of 2009/10.

  • Session recordings: for those who cannot attend, existing Learnlinc session recordings are available for viewing (see below).  Note that in many of the modules, the handouts (PDF or Word documents) are comprehensive business/application documents that serve as a good reference source.  To view the Learnlinc Recordings, you will need to download the Learnlinc Player. You will also need a workstation with sound and a headset or speakers to listen to the recording.  We will be working on updating the training module content for 2009/10.

  • Face-to-face sessions are offered periodically.  These are based on any major application developments and/or special needs identified by operational, regional and/or headquarters level.  When these are offered, they will be communicated through Application Updates.
