This Training Resource Centre is a self-directed website for you to use in
obtaining the desired support and/or training to assist you with the FSP
Tracking System application.
What’s New in Training and Support
- Training Document - FSP TRACKING SYSTEM: Release 1.4 – In place of training for release 1.4, this guide will orient the user to the changes that have been implemented for FSP release 1.4.
- Provincial FSP Business Process Workflows – illustrations summarizing how to use the FSP Tracking System to prepare and submit an FSP along with review, approve and amend an FSP. Available on the user guide page. These workflows are based on feedback from the FSPTS District Contact training delivered between November, 2008 and March 2009.
- Updated support materials – several support tools have been added and/or changed. A FSP Review Checklist has been added to the User Guides page. This checklist will assist reviewers confirm the FSP, or amendment, submission is complete. In addition, user guides and quick reference cards for submitting and amending an FSP have been updated to reflect the revised ESF submission process for FSPs and amendments that was introduced in December, 2008. The self-study activity for submitting an FSP has also been updated to be consistent with the revised ESF submission process. Lastly, tips and techniques have been updated to reflect the best practices identified during the FSPTS District Contact training that occurred between November/08 and March/09. Tips and techniques can be found under the Reminders and Refresher Training section of the Training Resource Centre.
- How to Submit Your Forest Stewardship Plan Electronically
– A reprint of an article on the FSP Tracking System in the March-April, 2009 issue of the BC Forest Professional magazine. The complete version of the magazine can be found on the Association of BC Forest Professionals website at:
