Summer 2009 Planting Afforested or Planted Landscape

March 2010 afforestation project at Shawnigan Lake School.  A total of about 11,700 trees planted as the school converts 6.5 hectares into forest land

Foothills Boulevard, Prince George BC

A section along Foothills Boulevard in Prince George was deforested in the 1970s for highway expansion.  Afforestation followed in the 1990s.  These photo taken in winter 2009/10 show how the conversion back to forest land is progressing.
