T-chart

Use a T-Chart to write your thoughts using two headings. It is an excellent strategy to quickly list your thoughts relating to sound, seeing, and feelings.

Steps

1. Begin by choosing the two ideas that you want to work with — e.g., hearing, seeing, or feeling.

2. On the left side of the T, list of what you would see (hear or feel)

3. On the right side of the T, list of what you would hear (see or feel)

4. Often you will be able to both hear and see the same thing. However, sometimes this may not be possible; e.g., you likely can see worms but not be able to hear them (without using special equipment). Nevertheless, they probably make a sound as they plough through the earth.
