OAF1 Project

This web site communicates the results to date of the OAF1 Project and provides additional information relevant to estimating appropriate values for both OAF1 and OAF2.  OAF1 and OAF2 are the Type 1 and Type 2 Operational Adjustment Factors used by the BC Ministry of Forests growth and yield model TIPSY (Table Interpolation Program for Stand Yield).  OAF1 and OAF2 are TIPSY input parameters that reduce predicted yield to account for factors such as non-productive areas within stands, disease and insects, non-commercial cover, stocking gaps, decay, waste, and breakage.
