  • Tory Stevens (MELP) Tory is with the Habitat Branch in Victoria. She chairs the Habitat Modelling Steering Committee, a joint MELP and MOF committee, which oversees a number of habitat supply projects including this web page. TStevens@victoria1.gov.bc.ca

  • Brian Nyberg (MoF) Brian is responsible for wildife policy issues related to forestry, including the Forest Practices Code and conservation of species at risk. Modelling of habitat change over time is an important tool for evaluating the responses of species and ecological interactions to changes in forest management policies. Brian.Nyberg@gems6.gov.bc.ca

  • Jim Rochelle Jim chairs the Biodiversity Working Group (BWG) for the Forest Productivity Council. As an initial charge, the BWG have drafted a strategic plan for incorporating biodiversity in forest management planning in British Columbia. The emphasis of this strategy is habitat supply modeling.
