Contract Planting Payment Certificate
(manual)

Purpose

The FS 795 is a form of planting payment certificate. This form is generally not used due to the availability of the PC-based PAYCERT program.

Completion

The completion of the payment certificate if self explanatory with sections A and B outlining contract information, with the rest of the sections dealing with the basic payment, reductions, any additional credits or deductions, and the total due to the contractor.

It is recommended that the computer PAYCERT program be used as often as possible. Within PAYCERT, the statistical analyses are automatically carried out to ensure that the plot variations for quality and the number of trees planted fall within the requirements of "Project Management" in this chapter.

Distribution

The properly completed and coded payment certificate is to be forwarded to accounts for payment. For more information on contract payments, refer to the chapter "Contract Management," Section 7.55 in this manual, and to Chapter 5 (starting on page 32) in the Contract Administration Manual.
