A Minister’s Community Advisory Group will provide input and advice on the
mountain pine beetle action plan and advise where additional public input and
communication is required. Members include representatives from communities, First
Nations, forest industry, scientific community, logging contractors, and the
federal government.

VICTORIA – The annual harvest for Tree Farm Licence 35 northwest of Kamloops
has been increased to 325,600 cubic metres to deal with the mountain pine beetle
epidemic and the aftermath of the 2003 McLure fire, deputy chief forester Ken Baker
said today.
