Aerial Overview Survey Summary History by Region 1994 to 1998 (Ministry of Forests' Data Only)

Aerial overviews were discontinued by the Forest Insect and Disease Survey (FIDS), Canadian Forest Service in 1995. Since then, the B.C. Ministry of Forests have collected the data.  Unfortunately, coverage and methodology were not consistent and so the following historical record for the province is incomplete.  Data from 1995 and earlier is available through the Pacific Forestry Centre's Forest Health Network Archives and the MOF Forest Health Web Map.  FIDS regional summary reports are available on-line through the  CFS's Forest Invasive Alien Species document library web site which can be searched by area and year of interest.
