Estimating the Number of Infestation Sites Within Suppression Beetle Management Units

The spatial distribution of infestations is a factor in determining how successful bark beetle management efforts will be at achieving suppression targets.  The more infestation sites there are across the BMU, the more complex and difficult the task will be in achieving 80 to 100% treatment.  

The total number of "sites" is the sum of the polygon and spot counts from the spatially queried aerial overview data generated from the red tree estimation.
