
Gypsy Moth Trapping Results in
2002
Results of Canadian Food
Inspection Agency's Annual Monitoring
Fifteen male moths were caught in
pheromone traps in the following locations in the summer of 2002. A
high density grid trapping (Trap density 9/acre (5760/sq.mi.),
Inter-trap distance 70 ft) caught the 6 moths in Delta. A total of
8055 traps were placed throughout B.C. No treatments other than
the use of a mass trapping grid in Delta were conducted in 2003.
