The final application was completed on June 1st

of the Spray Area

The third (final) round of spraying was completed on Thursday, June 1st.  Spraying started just after 5 am and ended at about 7:25 am.

HISTORY

Spray 1 (May 5-8, 2000)

The first of up to four sprays began on May 5th but due to a rain delay was only able  to complete about one-third of the area.  Completion of the area was delayed again by wet weather on Saturday, May 6th. Low lying fog caused a delay in Sunday morning's spray and only allowed completion of one-third of the spray zone.  The final third of the first spray was completed on Monday, May 8th at about 6:20 am under ideal conditions.

Spray 2 (May 15-16)

Spraying began at about 5:20 am, Monday May 15th under ideal conditions.   The spray ended at about 7:00 am with about 80% of the area completed.  Completion of the spray occured at 5:30 am on Tuesday, May 16th.

Spray 3 (final)  (June 1)

Spraying began at about 5:05 am and was completed at 7:25 am.  A slight delay was caused by ground fog which later lifted allowing the entire spray area to be completed.
