Resource Stewardship Monitoring Training

2011/12 RSM Training Information

The Forest & Range Evaluation Program (FREP) delivers training as part of the Resource Stewardship Monitoring component of FREP. The full training process, depending on the complexity of the resource value, involves the completion of 2-3 years of formal training to build skills in resource stewardship monitoring for a resource value followed by refresher/advanced training. The objective is to have at least one trained evaluator for each value in each district.

Additional training opportunities are available for people, who are interested in an introduction to the evaluation methodology for each resource value, but do not plan on completing evaluations themselves.
