FREP Reports
FREP Reports are peer-reviewed, scientifically valid and statistically rigorous documentation of the results of monitoring and evaluations. There will be four to eight reports per year distributed to stakeholders by paper and email as well as posted on the website.

FREP Discussion Papers
FREP Discussion Papers stimulate discussion and feedback on various aspects of FREP requiring broad input and/or are controversial. They are detailed documents that provide an opportunity for stakeholders to provide their feedback in the development of FREP. One to two Discussion Papers will be distributed electronically every year.

FREP Technical Guidance
FREP Technical Guidance (formerly Technical Notes) provide detailed guidance for project leaders and other staff on various aspects of monitoring and evaluation (e.g., development of appropriate monitoring indicators, why the sites we sample for monitoring are randomly selected). Typically FREP will produce two to three technical notes per year that will be distributed electronically to staff.

FREP Quality Control Protocols/ Quality Assurance Reports
Quality control is about inspection, control, monitoring, and prevention. It deals with incremental improvement and is based on individual projects. The activities of quality control are usually expressed by means of Quality Control Protocols.
