Abstract

British Columbia's rangeland resources include grasslands, forests, shrublands, wetlands, subalpine and alpine plant communities. Healthy rangelands support viable wildlife populations and a vibrant livestock industry. Intact rangelands fulfill ecological, social, spiritual and aesthetic values and provide a legacy for the future.
