Abstract
Workshops based on the IWlFR handbook, Deer and Elk Habitats in Coastal Forests of Southern British Columbia, were conducted at seven locations on Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. The workshops were for individuals from both government and industry involved in forest management and planning. The primary purpose was to facilitate use and understanding of the handbook. Secondary objectives were to promote greater understanding of deer and elk ecology and increased communication.
