Abstract

The objectives of this problem analysis were to review habitat values needed by deer and elk; describe present and future forestry programs; assess impacts of forestry on habitats and rank the impacts by their relative importance; discuss study topics and areas; suggest research priorities; and, discuss methodologies for conducting research.
