Abstract

The objectives of the present analysis were to:

Define the elk/intensive forestry problem, with a discussion of its scope and each of its components;

Present a literature review and discussion of present problem-related knowledge;

List each of the problem-related unknowns (research needs); and, 

Recommend studies to solve each of the unknowns.
