Abstract
This pamphlet presents an integrated overview of site classification for the forested portion of coastal British Columbia, according to the system of biogeoclimatic ecosystem classification (BEC) IMeidinger and Pojar 1991). Included are the following: an outline of site classification; relationships of site associations to climate, soil moisture regimes, and soil nutrient regimes; and keys to the identification of soil moisture regimes and nutrient regimes.
