Abstract

BRITISH COLUMBIA'S rich natural resources have sustained human life and cultures for thousands of years. Only through careful management will this wealth of nature be sustained to meet the needs of future generations. Ecosystem classification provides a scientific framework to manage the province's diverse ecological systems.
