The Ministry of Forests and Range (MOFR) Learning Centre provides
web-based access to forest and range related training materials,
training software and courses. These materials are designed to help
forest and range resource managers find information and learning
resources on various topics quickly and easily.
How to Access Learning Resources
Ministry training is presented in the Learning Store
catalogue. Users can browse the catalogue for resources, search for
items using keywords, format and location or select topic headings
to guide their search.
You can register for courses in the Learning Store, which will keep
a history of your training. There is no need to log-in to access
many web-based training and reference materials, and most items are
available for free.
For a description of training in a particular area, click the
desired topic from the side bar menu.
The MOFR plays a key role in BC forest and range management by
undertaking research, setting policy and standards, and providing
information and tools needed to implement them. Forest and Range
management in British Columbia is a partnership among government,
industry, professional associations, educational institutions, and
other agencies. Look for resources provided by these partners on our Other Learning Resources
page.
Our Learning Formats page
describes the various formats used on this site.
