Abstract
This note is the first in an updated extension note series for the Southern Interior Forest Science Section. The purpose of these notes is to summarize information for field-based operational staff. This includes the Ministry of Forests Regional and District staff, licensees, and consultants. Extension notes are intended to provide concise technical information for improving forest and range management practices and assisting in solving field-based problems.
Extension notes will summarize a variety of types of Forest Science information, such as:
project updates and reports,
field-based consulting reports by Forest Sciences staff,
journal publications, and
conference and workshop proceedings.
This first note focuses on introduction to the Forest Science section, our work, extension, and how to contact us.
