Skeena Stikine Forest District - Woodlot Program

The Woodlot Licence Program is mandated to provide small-scale forestry opportunities. Practicing good forest stewardship on small Crown and private land parcels promotes social and economic well being. Woodlot licences were awarded through a competitive application process, as required by the Forest Act. The district woodlot staff supports the Woodlot Licence Program within the Bulkley and Kispiox Timber Supply Areas through ensuring operational plans and silviculture activities are consistent with higher level plans, policy, and legislation.
