if you are still required to comply with this Act, that is you are currently operating under an existing development plan, then you must abide by the following:

(1) In this section “commencement” means initial commencement or re-commencement after an inactive period of 3 months or more.
(2) A holder of an agreement under the Forest Act must notify the district manager, in accordance with subsection (3), before commencement of timber harvesting in a cutblock.
(3) A notice under subsection (2) must specify
(a) the location of the cutblock,
(b) the holder of the agreement under the Forest Act,
(c) the name of the holder’s representative who is responsible
for conducting the timber harvesting, and
(d) the projected date for commencement.
(4) The district manager may exempt a holder of an agreement under the Forest Act, conditionally or unconditionally, from the requirements of subsection (2).
(5) A holder of an agreement under the Forest Act who is exempted under subsection (4) must comply with any of
the conditions specified in the exemption.
