Christmas Trees

The staff and management at South Island Natural Resource District wish you and your family a safe and joyous holiday season and a healthy and prosperous New Year.

We do not have any areas for Public Christmas Tree cutting in SIFD. You could visit any of the U-Cut commercial operations if you prefer to choose and cut your Christmas tree. Click on link to see a table listing locations throughout the SIFD area.

There are numerous individuals in the South Island Forest District that manage areas of Crown Land under BC Hydro Transmission lines for Christmas Trees. These individuals plant, prune and harvest their trees each year as per their respective Christmas Tree Permit.

Most of these individuals concentrate on wholesale markets, although several offer annual U-CUTS.
