(other than roads or gravel/rock pits)

Application letter to District Manager outlining the following:

·         general description of your proposal;

·         current use of area;

·         intended use of area;

·         building of and disposal of chattels or fixtures proposed for the site;

·         planned methods, location and disposal of waste generated at the site;

·         planned cleanup and site restoration of the land after use;

·         description of timber which requires removal;

·         length of time required;  and,

·         full legal name, address and phone number of applicant (or company).

A 1:5000 scale operational plan map indicating applicable:

·         proposed location boundary of area required, tied to an identifiable point (legal corner if available) of commencement;

·         location of chattels or fixtures proposed;

·         waste disposal areas;

·         streams and other resource features;  and,

·         any existing improvements (buildings, transmission lines, roads, etc.)

A completed application for a Licence to Cut if any Crown timber is required to be cut or removed in your proposal.  Major licensees can apply for cutting permit authority instead of a Licence to Cut for areas within their tenure.

A completed application for a Road Use Permit if an industrial use of a Forest Service Road is required for you’re proposal.

Any documentation and responses relating to your preliminary consultation with local user groups, First Nations or other agencies, if applicable.
