Current Fee Schedule

 The first year annual rent is $200.00.  Annual rent for subsequent years will be based on a percentage of the land value (determined by B.C. Assessment) as noted below:  

Development

Second & Subsequent Years Rent*

Commercial or Industrial

7.5%

Summer Home (weekend or summer)

2%

Residential (year round)

6%

Gravel Pits (pit area)

1%

Gravel Pits (equipment or building site)

7.5%

*  The second and following years will be based on the land value as per the tax assessment

 Any charges under $25.00 will not be billed.  Non-profit groups are not required to pay annual rent.  GST is not applicable.

 Property taxes are also payable on an annual basis to the appropriate regional or municipal authorities.

 Deposit

 A deposit may be required on a Special Use Permit.  This deposit is at the district managers’ discretion based on a review of the intended use and values that may be impacted.
