Big Springs, Lake Koocanusa

Lake Koocanusa is the largest lake in the Rocky Mountain Forest District. The lake was formed by the empoundment behind the Libby Dam in Montana. Very high recreation use occurs on the lake in the summer with its gin-clear water and relatively warm temperatures
