Larchwood Lake Recreation Site - # 3

Access

From Hwy 93/95 take the Skookumchuck Pulpmill road (Farstad Way).  Turning west before entering the mill the paved road turns to gravel and leads to the Torrent FS Road.  Follow the Torrent Road north to the well-marked Larchwood Lake turnoff at the top of a hill.  The lake is accessible by 2WD vehicles with trailers.

Characteristics and Description

This small lake is busy in the summer months.  Swimming in the warm shallow waters is popular with children.  These sunny, open campsites provide scenic lake views.  Most sites can accommodate trailers.  The Tamarack Lake Recreation Site is a short drive to the south west and offers better angling opportunities and 3 campsites.
