Instructions for downloading off-line versions of documents

We are offering an option to download information from the Rocky Mountain Forest District web site for your convenience.

Please note that some of the download files are very large (.5 to 7 megabytes) and will take a considerable time to download across a slower internet connection.

Note: It may be helpful to print this page so you have these instructions available while downloading

1. From the Download Page go to the title you are interested in and click on Download EXE or Download ZIP.

2. When prompted by your browser select SAVE TO DISK.

3. Save each file to your hard drive.

4. After downloading is completed, go to the directory you created using your file manager (Explorer) and double-click on the self-extracting .exe file to de-compress the files into that directory or extract the .zip file.

5. When completed, the .exe or .zip file may be deleted to save drive space.
