At various times
throughout the year, the Queen Charlotte Islands Forest District may make
firewood available for domestic use at the Honna Dry Land Sort. The
Honna Sort is located approximately 3 km west of Queen Charlotte City in
Kagan Bay and can be accessed via the Honna Forest Service Road.
Interested parties
are required to obtain a free firewood use permit from the District
office located at 1229 Cemetery Road in Queen Charlotte City from 8:30
to 12:00 and 1:00 to 4:30 Monday to Friday. This form is
accessible online through the link below. The form must be filled out
and returned to the district office for approval before firewood can be
cut.
Users are asked to
keep the area orderly and to use caution while cutting firewood and
traveling on the Honna Forest Service Road.
