The Small Scale Salvage section of the Okanagan Shuswap Forest District is responsible for the administration of disposal of small volumes of timber within our district.
Small Scale Salvage is the recovery of individual trees or small patches of or fallen timber considered uneconomic by the commercial forest industry. Salvage timber includes trees that are wind-thrown, beetle-killed, damaged by fire or considered to be logging operations residue. |
