Head west from Creston on highway #3 for 30.0 km to PLacer Creek Road. Turn right onto Placer Creek road and follow it for 5.2km until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork in the road for 1.0km. The trail begins at the edge of the landing. A 2wd high clearance vehicle is required.

Description

This trail follows Placer Creek to Lower Placer Lake, and continues on to the upper lake. Both lakes are in sub-alpine basins. The upper lake is surounded by ridges and a talus field. Suitable camping areas are available at both lakes. This area is part of the protected Mountain Caribou's habitat. Primary activities are hiking,camping,fishing, and viewing.
